I.D. Magazine offered me a Senior Art Director position at the end of my junior year. What with senior portfolio on the loom I wasn't able to accept, but much enjoyed temporary stints in the mag's former New York offices. I.D. hired an alt designer whom I'd recommended in my stead, whose newfound editorial experience later helped nab him a slot from Fabrica.
