FUN FACT: I worked at Gourmet + Condé Nast's Corporate Art department the summer of my junior year (1999), after winning SVA's most coveted as well as generous (full-tuition + salary) senior year design scholarship: The Bea Feitler. ||| FUN FACT #2: Word on the street has it that the average Gourmet staffer used to gain at least 10 taste-testing pounds per year. (There ain't nothin' like gobbling 6 different kinds of turkey during the middle of July.) ||| FUN FACT #3: Whomever selected Gourmet's primary typeface failed to notice its fugly uppercase Q. Editors used to avoid opening paragraphs with curly cat tails lest a dropcap mar the page!
