Client directive? "Create a flat, 2D retail store and dealership dangler using a Christmas tree. We'd like all of our entertainment network logos to be placed on the tree as ornaments." I delivered as asked but offered up a second more artistic approach paired with a simple, symmetrical, interlocking 3D design. Surprisingly, all represented networks greenlighted the cropping of their logos. DIRECTV was so pleased, this 3-foot piece was nearly adapted into a life-size, freestanding tree for in-store use. (*I did not design the red tag: a standard branded lock-up.)
