Race coordinators were looking for a more artistic design than in years past that would tie the front design onto the back. I hand drew the design first and then converted it to a computer illustration. The free flowing nature of running inspired my design which was also carried onto the back of the shirt.

To keep costs down, I decided to use only one color on the back and keep the design simple. The main focus is on the date of the event with some organic shapes and running associated items around the date.
