Out of the textile heirlooms of the designer, a collection concept has emerged on the subject of transculturality. It combines the Guinea-Bissau Pano de pente weaving art with hand knitting patterns that are used in Germany. The author unites the patterns of her grandmothers, who have each practiced one of the textile disciplines, in a tense fusion.
