jewels - The starting point of this project was to draw attention to the aesthetics
of mass production and the familiar yet unnoticed language of objects wich we generally classify as purey functional.
Take for example the stoical beauy of styrofoam packaging shells. In a way they are as beautiful and wondrous as a pod hugging a seed. Tree crotches are a natural pendant to mass
produced, functional forms.
