I began this project a little under two years ago, when I first saw Blade Runner 2049. I came and went from the theater four more times, each time more inspired to create an homage to the film, but unsure of what to do.
After a few weeks of reading interesting interviews and fan theories regarding the film, it struck me that I could be collecting these stories into a single volume. They'd be scattered among different sites otherwise, and crafting an elegant fanzine is within my skillset.
It took me much longer than I planned to put it all together in a way that was attractive and legible, but I'm glad to have finally put an end to such a lengthy project. I learned much more about (long) book design, and look forward to putting that knowledge to use in the future.
