Bamboo Shade
A first inquiry into Bamboo.
The aim was to build a shelter / shade, using any natural material.
Bamboo being uncharted territory for me, seemed an exciting prospect.
The entire process was quite experimental and exploratory of bamboo as a material.
The project was carried out in collaboration with the Green Chakra Group (lead by Jack Poretta, an ecological artist and natural builder).
