Nokia Bhasha was an All India Application design with a vision of promoting the local Indian languages in the Nokia phones in India. The concept was named VIJETA, a game, which would help people migrating from one city to another with their linguistic needs.
The game used the features of smartphones such as GPS, cloud services and other motion sensors.
VIJETA can be played both online and offline. One needs to clear all the tasks in the offline mode before he approaches to the next level in the online mode. The game not only teaches the local dialect and scripts, but also lets one know about the general knowledge of the new city.
The multiplayer game mode over the GPRS and 3G internet makes the game more interactive, when one plays against a new virtual friend in that city.
