BISON –bio-geographic information system, consisting of a GIS application for retrieving species occurrences data and its companion website, presenting the system as a collaborative project and featuring additional capabilities to consume BISON data.
I helped the project team to identify and document requirements for enhancements and improvements to the user interface of the system and information architecture of the website. My contributions included task flow analysis for BISON users, a set of wireframes with several alternative designs incorporating team ideas and corresponding to the user task flow, and a final detailed mockup, which was used during the following development sprint for the product.
