This particular story of naturals inspired by beaches and resorts comes from the main umbrella story of Country Glam for Season 2. This is a pre-winter collection designed for LEISURE WEAR for the brand ANNABELLE. A request from the category management helped me devise of this story. It includes simple silhouettes including those of fitted knee length bermudas and an over shirt which are for the first time being introduced to Annabelle. Fabrics such as linen cotton blends and jute blends have been used. The prints as mentioned are very resorty and help one to relax. Shot on the Aksa Beach in North Mumbai, the whole mood is captured duly.
“Welcome to the shores...”
In this ensemble the top is made of 100% yarn dyed linen. The sleeves have a tie up which continues on the sleeve edge embellished with pearl buttons. The drawstring bermuda is made of linen with stitch lines seams.
In this ensemble the overshirt is made of printed linen. The back is semi fitted because of pintucks instead of fish darts. The drawstring trousers are made of jute blended cotton fabric. Embellished with contrast stitch lines on seams.
The 3/4 sleeve top is made of printed linen. The front is embellished with pearl buttons and stitch lines in a dark shade. The drawstring skirt is made of jute blended cotton. The lower panel is lined with printed linen strips.
This ensemble is a part of the resort collection done for "Annabelle", Pantaloon Retail India Ltd. The inspiration is beaches. The fabrics used for the shirt is 100% woven striper linen, pearls buttons as trims. The bermuda is made of 100% linen and is embroidered with running stitches along the seams and pocket
