Tefal - Mixie (blender with metal bowl) A mixie which plays with the Georganic trend (cf The Indian Style, a Tefal document), where the curve on the main body plays with the tight curve of the base. The idea was to bring a good stability of the shape/product and, at the same time, playing with soft and comfortable curves. I used the major design code of the Vita-Cuisine: the big chrome chamfer belt. The base of the bowl has a special shape to avoid any drop, dripping from the bowl and fall on the base of the product.
Tefal - Mixie (blender with metal bowl) A mixie, all in simplicity and more in the Organic style (cf The Indian Style, a Tefal document) and inspired by the Cast-Iron Pot from Tefal. The idea was to bring a simple but efficient style, with well-visible functions, thanks to the style elements like the generous plastic part around the knob, or the red insert indicator on the rotating knob, for example.

Tefal Range Of Mixies

Brief:
Design a range of Mixies to allow Tefal (Group Seb) to become a key player in the mixie segment in India. Designs should be in line with the present Tefal design codes. The body shape of the mixies should convey stability and sturdiness, as Indian mix and grind hard ingredients so the mixies happens to shake a lot.

Strategic design choice:
Carefully checking the specificities of the Indian market, and consumer behaviour. Indian consumers look for “value for money” and even “material for money”, so I recommended that designs should use solid and study materials / constructions. Designs should also look good as Mixie is often the only product that stays on shelf, and must be self-rewarding as Indian kitchens are most of the time opened kitchens.
