Brief:
Design an all-in-one ceramic pendant, using Marset colour dipping process.

Strategic design choice:
To avoid a cost increase in the already expensive process of colour dipping, the choice was made to dip the product two sides at the same time, but into two separated tanks. This procedure allows for better outlook, but without adding costs to the process.
My involvement in this project:

• internal component placement & tech integration + design to cost approach
• industrial design (sketching, CAD, CMF)

Marset - Peak pendant version 1 All-in-one ceramic block pendant, with a biscuit texture, here in coral-red colour. Light comes from the inside of the product, to avoid any glare while having dinner.
Marset - Peak pendant version 1 Integration view and detail view of the cable attachment system, which is made either of vegan leather or silica gel.
Marset - Peak pendant version 2 The version 2 have a different shape and receive a shinny colour treatment on its top shape, via a dipping process described on next page.
Marset - Peak pendant version 2 The dipping process is done in one single immersion, but in two separated tanks at the same time.
