Nature & Découvertes - Essential oil diffusor, fallen leaf For this design, I took inspiration from vases and vivaria, with a vertical and all round pill shape. The top part of the product is the diffusing head and look like a simple leaf, always surrounded by mist. This detail gives the product poetic look. The top part is made of glass and the external shell is sanded. The logo is printed on the glass sanded part. There’s a ring in the middle of the product (of the same colour as the leaf), which visually cut the product in half and initiate the material change between the upper half and the lower half of the product. The lower part of the product is made of white recycled plastic and covered with a fabric mesh, to bring a touch of softness. Buttons are sensitive and on the side of the product. This product can be declined in many colour variations. The lowest part welcome 4 white rubber hemispheric feet, to help with airflow and avoid damaging furniture.
Nature & Découvertes - Essential oil diffusor, Christmas range For this range of products, the idea was more based on a decorative light, rather on an essential oil diffusor. The cosmetic approach was also chosen for Christmas holidays (of course, different colours would be available). The shape of the product is of a conic revolved shape, with generous radiuses. The design highlights a transparent glass part (mass tainted), supported by a recycled white plastic part under it. The light it would emit was meant to be soft. The central part is made of white lacquered plastic, for the logo and the side-sensitive buttons. Using a remote would even increase the decorative impact of the product (without printing on the side). The USB key is made of plastic (of course).
