The original bench. Because LoBench is made from various hard woods, no two are the same. the legs are simply raw cold rolled steel hairpin legs that have been lightly oiled to fend of oxidation. I'm currently offering the wood to be finished in a light polyurethane or the preferred method of a mineral oil/beeswax blend which brings out the the incredible natural beauty and grain of the woods.

The "Port": While laying up the wood for gluing a piece was short resulting in a hole. I enjoyed how it gave the bench such a unique personality and decided to accentuate it rather than fix it. No two benches are the same.
