This poster was meant to promote the overall message of the program it is advertising (The NCSU Equal Opportunity Institute Protected Class Series) and work in tandem with an outdoor installation-like display. The modernist design is supposed to reflect a structured, definite quality to the concept of equality. I wrote the primary copy in the bottom left corner.
Protected Class Series Installation. - This outdoor display is a series of quotes that represent various categories within the protected class series outlined by the poster. The location of the installation is the courtyard outside of the "international village" (Alexander Hall) on the NCSU main campus. The joining paths in a "global" context are meant to represent a sense of universal togetherness.
Cultural Imperialism - This diagram explains (indirectly) the concept of cultural imperialism by relating the Jonas Brothers to corporate America's domination of youth entertainment.
