Ad-Buster - The goal of this project was to give an advertisement a totally different connotation by making only a minor alteration in Photoshop. The ad for Cannon Cameras says "How to get the shot", The altered version on the right implies a different kind of "shot", as the fallen hockey player is sporting a gun wound in the back of his helmet and a pool of blood.
Tableau - The goal of the Tableau was to tell a story though a single image.
The placement of the girl's hand in the dynamic quarter demonstrates her action of ultimately stealing the wallet of the guy she has been out on a date with. He thinks they are going for a majestic, late night stroll. She is taking his money.
How to "Bro-Out" (Live Photocopying) - This guide on how to "Bro Out" (see YouTube classic: Bro Rape) was produced using a technique called "live photocopying" which adds colored layers (manually) to a composition on a color photocopier.
No Photoshop was used in the making of this piece.
Reebus T-Shirt - The concept of a "rebus" is to deliver a linguistic message through selected, simple images that create the syllables that form said word.
Buck (the dollar bill) + Teeth (location and placement on mouth) = Buckteeth.
The shirt is a three color screen print.
Historizin' (The Baby Boom) - The "Historizin" montage uses a multitude of sources ranging from dated text to vector images to form a composition that exposes, visually, an instance in history from multiple perspectives.
I choose the "Baby Boom" period for my piece (1940's-60's).
