Mycohelm Mycelium Helmet
A design brief was given to our Studio 3 class, a collaboration with Kean University and Ecovative. The project: design a product using Mycelium foam (100% environmentally friendly foam). This material is revolutionary -- it has similar properties to EPS (styrofoam), all while being 100% biodegradable. Many designers are starting to use this material.
The Mycohelm is an innovative solution to a hidden problem... Citibike does not sell helmets! Product intended to be sold in small vending machines next to Citibike locations.
