By just twisting a piece we can turn disorder into order and order into disorder. Decorative freestanding mobile object, that with the users intervention, by just twisting one piece, we can straighten up the pieces creating a curious, pleasant and relaxing movement. Materials: metal stick and wood panels.

It was a school assignment. The briefing was to make a decorative kinetic object. While most students chose to design a hanging mobile, I decided to design a free standing one.

By just twisting the first piece, it will pick up the next one and the next one and so one... and that creates a relaxing movement and interesting zig-zag pattern.
