Altec Lansing engaged me once again to create a design for a set of behind the ear wireless earphones. While I had already established a design language common to all Altec Lansing sport earphones, the challenge on this occasion was to harmonize that ergonomic and sporty design language with the unique requirements of this product.

I designed an ear clip up to the physical challenge of securing the earphones to the ear while also conforming to the overall aesthetic balance of the device. This design carefully balances the design requirements of the client with a look that Altec Lansing’s customers will recognize and appreciate.
