Carambola/Starfruit - Even though starfruit packages itself in the most beautiful way, the purpose of doing this project was to encourage college students to choose healthy fruits as snacks and desserts over bags of junk food.
Each set of three containers are doweled together from inside, which makes them a unit that can hold two diced average starfruits. Green, yellow, and orange show the different stages when the fruit is unripe, ripe, and overripe. I made three different sets of patterns based on the shape and the colors of starfruit to make the packaging more appealing to my audience.
