Chahar-Shanbeh Soori: The Fire Festival of Iranians - In this zine, I illustrated my own experience from one Chahar-Shanbeh Soori eve, back in Iran. In each spread, I illustrated the abstract composition of what I saw and remember from that night. My color palette was limitted to yellow and red (the two main symbolic colors of the festival and fire), and black as strokes. I used white as background to add more contrast to the spreads and to make the illustration more vivid.
