Forest Succession - Proposal For an Interactive Website/Application
Succession is the natural, orderly change in plant and animal communities that occurs over time. If left undisturbed, an open field may become an “aging†forest in 150–300 years.
The typographic tree illustrates different stages of a forest through the succession process. The whole forest is seen as one single tree; with grass, shrubs, and trees in the forest as its leaves.
