I have more than 2 years of experience in print publication, brand identity and environmental design - My experience consists of being the publications manager for 2 departments at Rutgers University. I balanced working creatively under limited direction while being challenged with publication and printing deadlines. In addition to my experience at Rutgers, I did an internship at Seventeen Magazine. Most recently, I spent this past summer working on a brand identity and retail environmental design project with a small design studio.
VOICES & VISIONS BOOK COVERS - Covers for Phaidon’s new artist book series, Voices + Visions. Rather than using the artist's photo or work, the imagery reflects aspects unique to them. Rabelle's paintings are colorful and textured like candy wrappers; Abbas is a social doc photographer who does humanitarian work similar to that of a Red Cross aid; and Atrissi's designs are a blend of the traditional and modern, embracing eastern and western aesthetics, similar to a blender with many different ingredients.
ELEMENT POSTERS - Twist on the usual periodic table of elements. 2 posters from the series to appeal to today's youth and serve as a unique way to remember each element's characteristics. Communication of elements' characteristics through the use of visual metaphor. Arsenic is dangerous, and lithium, like an energy bar, re-energizes.
