3rd Year Major Project at University. 3D Cad model of my final design. I found this design to be very complex to model in Alias 3D due to its unusual sculpture like shape. Several trial and errors were made. Here is the final result.

3rd Year Major Project at University - The Brief was to create a green powered, single seater, 3 wheel tiling vehicle to be used for light travel and provide ultimate fun out on the open road. The design needed to be original, & stand out from the crowd. These are some of the hand drawn sketch renders I came up with. I explored the use of curvature in my design to come up with an unique sculpted aerodynamic design. I named the design 'The Optimus'

Model began life as a large block of wood. Using various workshop machines, I stared to carve out the shape working from 2D and 3D Cad info. Because of its unusual curvature shape, I opted to use wood as a medium instead of traditional clay so I could finely shape the design in all angles. I wanted to keep the design as close to the original drawing as I could, so the extra hours to create it paid off in the end. Model was then primed, wet sanded and painted by myself.
