Reebok X SCAD
In the winter of 2013 my relationship with Reebok began. The company came to my college (SCAD) with a collaborative innovation project which would last 10 weeks. At this time Reebok's partnership with CrossFit was still very young and it became a common thought that CrossFit caused unwarranted injuries to athletes.
Simultaneous to this, wearable technology was becoming a trend, and competitors such as Nike and Under Armour were beginning to invest. As a multidisciplinary design team, our opportunity was to introduce wearable technology into CrossFit for a meaningful purpose.
