Floret - Solar Sculpture Collaboration - Collaborative project with Erika Hansen. We collectively decided on the form and function of the peice and i was responsible for the most of the production, specifically;
-drawing up of the pattern for slots to be cut into the cylinder (Adobe illustrator)
-Laser cutting of cylinder
-design and build of electro-mechanics system (charging and timing circuits, small winch motor, micro switches and relays for the reversing system)
-Fabrication of master pattern to cast 'leaves' from (Ciba tool)
