Weather never effected the job and I would work in complete down pours, 95 degree days, and from sun up to past sun down.
Moving to Massachusetts for a summer was an experience i will never forget. I was beautiful and getting out of my regular routine was a wake-up call. This showed me i could live on my own away from home in a new area.
The system that I was selling included books, software, and a website. They all worked together to increase the effectiveness. I had no idea what it was before the summer started and i had to learn about each one of these systems. I would go through them in my off time just to become more familiar with each and I could see it in my sales; when i new more about a product and had more confidence in it, I would sell a lot more of that part.
This was the main product we were trying to sell. This set of books covered all middle school and high school topics with the need to know information. They were great study guides and could help if you ever had a question about at topic. There were 2 Math books, a science book, and history/English book. Also an Honors courses book to help guild you through how to study for the AP tests and get some practice in before hand.
This was an area were i was selling in north Massachusetts. Some of the neighborhoods I worked in were very nice and a little nerve racking to sell to, but I wouldn't let that stop me. I would never let an opportunity pass me by.
After a late meeting with a client i was backing out of their driveway and went over the edge. I kept my cool though and got help for my car but while i was waiting i ended up making a sale to another family. I didn't let one issue affect my mood or drive to do my job.
This is a before and after picture of the summer. I learned to be healthy and ended up losing 25 lbs. over the summer. I had more energy and felt amazing.
At the end of the summer, everyone went back to Nashville TN. and had to do all of the paperwork (Taxes, Total sales, Inventory, Licensing, ect.) This was an invaluable part of the experience that helped me learn a lot about the management of a business. I made a lot of new friends over the summer and it was great to have one last get together before we all went our separate ways again.

During the summer of 2013 I ran my own sales business through a company called Southwestern Advantage. This job required me to make over 6,000 cold calls this summer. Along with running my own business, I had multiple training and motivational meetings.
