The Never Never, a folk rock band from Brighton and London, known for their true to life, Brit grit lyrics and dynamic raw melodies. The brief specified that the logo should incorporate the moon and magpies to reflect the band's identity.
To begin the project, I researched the band's music and style, as well as the symbolism of the moon and magpies. I then sketched several design concepts, exploring different ways to combine these elements in a way that would be visually striking and reflective of the band's identity.
The moon and magpies was designed to have a rough, hand-drawn quality to reflect the band's raw and authentic sound.
The final logo was created in a monochromatic color scheme, allowing it to be used across a variety of materials and platforms. The logo was designed to be versatile, working equally well as a standalone graphic or incorporated into other design elements, such as album artwork or merchandise.
