For this project we were given a location, we had to change the interior. The space was originally an office, converting into a car showroom for the main space and a cafe for the extra space. Having a homely feeling keeping it comforting and cosy also bringing the outside in.
In the space, I had an idea of having different makes of cars; one from each car company. Thinking about the audience and it’s mostly going to be men. When thinking about the idea I thought about movies and famous cars, making it more of a family audience.
I would like a calm, relaxed and chilled atmosphere, not too crowded so people can be inspired by the art of the cars and the films which they have been in, having memories.
Getting different people more into cars showing the art so people can understand also the difference between old and new movies. Also having a 3D projection to make it more modern.
The cafe having a transformer theme as it links with the showroom; furniture made out of parts of cars.
