Graduation Project 2013 at Pearl Academy Of Fashion
Often in the journey of finding new things, we tend to forget what lies within our own community and culture. My collection is an interpretation to my grandmother’s Choli/blouses from the Shekhawati Marwari community, which are more than 60 yrs old. The beauty of the handcrafted clothes has been fused with the new age clothing style. Creating a look which is not followed by the fashion trends or forecast but is based on my own fashion conscience. Minute details are the key factor of my collection which makes each piece valuable as an individual garment. The client is someone who would like to stand out of the crowd with her own style and sensibility.
