ODDLINGS is a collection of three intriguing, playful and quirky doll clothes that aims to transform the Barbie doll both physically and imaginatively, and suggest alternative play possibilities. It is inspired by the feeling of stepping into the wild and discovering an environment overflowing with endless possibilities. The collection aims to break out of the stereotypical fashion-centric trends in doll clothes, and instead experiment with irregular forms that allow for open-ended play, where the only limit is the imagination. It combines new forms and ideas with a doll that has existed for decades.
This project will be exhibited at Vandalorum, Värnamo in May 2014.
