Let my NAME be my IDENTITY
Even today, there are countless women in Bangladesh who are not known by their own names, but as the son, daughter or mother of someone else. In this way their name, their very identity itself fades away, lost in the shadow of another.
On this Women’s Day, we the people sincerely hope and work towards one thing – that every woman in Bangladesh is known by her name, for who she is and not by association with another.
