Mangrove Information Center would be built by the Goverment of Surabaya in the next few years for the visitors who come to Ecotourism Mangrove Wonorejo. Therefore, it is necessary to build a building that can accommodate the information center and research.
The design method for the data collection uses directly and indirectly. Surveys and direct observations on the field are done to know the real condition of the Ecotourism Mangrove and activities in Ecotourism. In addition, an interviews with the Ecotourism Mangrove is manager and questionnaires to the visitors is determined to design Manrgove Information Center.
The expected result of this design is an Mangrove Information Center as an education and recreation are by lusing one of the parts of the plant which is the mangrove’s roots and its prominent characteristic of these plants in order to provide information about the mangrove to the visitors.
