Building Long-Term Client Relationships:
One of the state’s favorite athletic and entertainment venues is getting an addition that brings more excitement to the UW-Madison campus. Located in a highly-congested area of campus, the 102,800 gsf La Bahn Arena addition posed signification site-planning challenges given its extensive program. Working with campus staff, UW athletics, and City of Madison, I created a site design that meets all of the needs of the new facility and provides a welcoming outdoor environment. The LaBahn Arena is one example of several University of Wisconsin projects I’ve had the pleasure of working on.
My responsibilities included:
• Developing a strong working relationship with campus representatives.
• Solving complex site programming challenges given the available space.
• Presenting a variety of site options and facilitated the decision making process.
• Locating and designing event site security measures.
