The Musical Worlds of Victor Herbert
Shveima Associates worked in concert with the Interpretive Programs Office of the Library of Congress to provide exhibit design services for this exhibition on the life and work of Victor Herbert (1859–1924), Irish-American composer, conductor, and activist, whose best-known work is Babes in Toyland (1903).
The exhibit opened in Washington, D.C. at the Library of Congress Madison Building’s Performing Arts Reading Room Gallery. After six months it was repackaged for display at the Ira Gershwin Gallery located in the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, California.
