This is an early draft of a never-completed monogram project for a friend of my boss at Bullfrog Media. Her name was Tammy Son and she was a makeup artist: she wanted a monogram-type logo and her company is called GoBlush, so I added the sprinkle of blush powder in the center of the logo. However, it was a free project I was doing in my downtime at work, so when things picked back up we stopped working on further revisions.
This logo was made for Brien Shamp and his company, Belmont Personal Training & Nutrition. He just needed something very simple for the sign outside his gym, and asked for a B in a circle. He's still using a similar logo today: http://www.brienshamp.com/
We had to create a logo in an early visual culture class I took in my first year of college. I wanted to do something Art Deco inspired, and I love positive/negative space compositions, so this was the result.
This was a first draft of a logo for a company that will provide school directories on its website to reduce the cost and environmental impact of printing a paper one for each household. They just wanted something simple and clean that incorporated a school and a phone or phone book. I think they never actually got their company together, or changed their name, because I can't find them anywhere online anymore.
