Gondi, a wall painting art practiced by the Gond tribe of Madhya Pradesh, India, was the source of inspiration for me during this project. Bold forms, intricate painting and vibrant colors define this story telling art.
I tried extracting some of the painted textures on these paintings, printed here digitally.
Again printed digitally, here i tried playing with the scale of the different painted textures.
A lot of explorations were done, trying to depict the essence of the art via textures and forms using different mediums.
