Red Cross Shovel

The Red Cross Shovel Project was an effort to design
a better, more comfortable shovel for the red cross
to send in a care package. The goal was to create a
small, innovative, and cost effective shovel and case
to be sent to countries struck with disaster. This project
was extremely research heavy and focused on human
factors the most. The end result were two handles angled at forty-five degrees in opposing directions that are able to be installed onto any existing shovel. the angle and placement of the handles allows the wrists to be in a more natural position while also relieving stress from the users back.
