Elmas is one of the few expert companies in Russia, providing a full range of services in the field of consulting, certification and testing in accordance with both national and international requirements. The company was founded in the nineties and its logo hadn’t changed since then. In 2019 a new identity designed by 12 points was finally introduced. The schematic representation of EMC test chamber can also be treated as a sort of a monogram, as it contains Cyrillic capital letter ‘?’, the first letter in the company’s name in Russian. The company’s name ‘Elmas’ stems from electormagnetic compatibility (EMC), Elmas has its own testing laboratory with all the necessary equipment, including anechoic chamber, or EMC test chamber. The schematic representation of this chamber became the main graphic device implemented across various materials, and its simplified version is used as a sign in the logo.
