Bliss 'Shakespeare' Catalog/Campaign

This was the second of our themed catalogs/campaigns. The timing was perfect, as it was for the March/April books (Shakespeare was born in April), the hero story was the launch of The Youth As We Know It’ and, in general, the products played so well with Shakespeare-isms and quotes. It made it so easy to paginate the book. I art directed the cover, with the illustration of Blissgirl ‘performing’ from atop the jar.

I'm not gonna lie. Once you've written a 52-page beauty catalog that riffs off Shakespeare, it's pretty much downhill from there. No way to top that for me.
The juxtaposition of the puns with the citations of the source of the original copy was so perfect.

I wanted to scan every spread but I just cherry-picked some of my favorite pages here, as well as one of the POS pieces from the campaign.
