Vessel Project
The intent of the vessel project was to create a form that is contextualized through the rocks chosen for the vessel. Every aspect of my vessel’s form is from a feature of the rocks carried over into an abstracted form, rendered in plastic.
Rocks for Vessel
After the vessel was designed around the rocks, I then created synthetic rocks that hold the ideal qualities of the vessel I wanted to highlight. Because only one of my original rocks inspired the feature line on my vessel, I instead carried this into all three rocks’ design.
