Samsung organized an app design challenge among 8 Premier Institutes of Design in India.
In a team of 3 we worked on 2 different Game ideas-
1) Desi Akhada- The idea was to reinvent the Desi classic games like Kancha, Carrom and Gilli Danda and adapt them for a digital platform. The idea was awarded 3rd prize nation wide and the games are being developed by Samsung for their Smart Tv.
2) Augmented Reality Game- The idea was to adapt a classic game like mario into real world. The game was suppose to use camera feed and stitch the game play over the real environment. The gameplay was to collect points and avoid the obstacles coming into you way.
