'Spice Farm @ FCP' is a design in which I was inspired by the actual Spice Garden that can be found within the Fort Canning Park. My proposal is to create a Spice Farm, in which families and visitors can farm their own herbs and spices within my design space, to promote a community-like environment whereby users can experience family-bonding as well as have a sense of stewardship towards Fort Canning Park.
Visitors can plant and cultivate a broad range of herbs and spices which includes chilli, curry plant, lemon grass, turmeric and laksa plant within this site. These herbs and spices are chosen because they bring a great deal of significance to Fort Canning Park.
My proposed design also features two recreational spaces to further promote family-bonding.
My proposal includes a playground to provide entertainment to children coming to my site.
Another recreational space includes an interactive maze in which children can have fun experiencing.
A shelter is also provided within my design to act as a hub where people can relax from working or playing.
