Festool Adaptable Saw concept sketches - This concept resulted from weeks of research into contractor needs and wants. Tools that were adaptable were desireable, but only if they werent more complicated to use. This concept is for a compact jig-saw that quickly converts to a reciprocating saw at the push of a button, via a rotating cutting head.
Festool Adaptable Saw concept rendering - The final design concept uses a 45 degree joint about which the cutting head rotates. The two orientations allow the saw to be used as both a reciprocating saw and jig saw.
