Booklet / Research Project: The Painted Screens
The project was to research and create a booklet based on an icon of Baltimore, in this case, painted screens. I styled the layout, graphic elements, and typography to match what I’d learned of the Baltimore screen painters and their history, reaching back to the early 1900s, with the tradition continuing through new practitioners today.
