Environmental Signage - Tiny Trails at McAllister park is an arts and science festival for children between the ages of 4-12. The design was inspired by hiking trail signs. The minimal graphics and bold colors are easy for children to recognize. The large twelve foot tall blocks act as the entrance sign to the festival.
Directional and Area Signage - Directional Signage/ The directional signage uses a sono tube foundation for the direction arrows. The arrow shapes at the top of the tubes are based off of the graphics of each subject area. Area Signage/ The area signage is based off of the graphic for each subject. Each one is divided in half and blown up to be twelve feet tall. Children are drawn to the exaggeration of scale of everyday objects such as this pencil for the arts area.
