These animations were conceived for the Mitsubishi Imaging corporate website that I designed. The challenge was to convey the qualities of the CMYK print world in the RGB web environment. By using the influence of one of my design heroes Bradbury Thompson, who was known for creating beautiful layouts by intentionally off registering the CMYK print plates, I was able to create animations that spoke to the print trade. It was also a joy to see Mr. Thompson's design influence come to life in animation.
