The Tesla Ring - 11”x 17” screen prints, handmade copper ring, painted stainless steel cable, salvaged electrical plug from the 1950s

This project involved creating a ring with some kind of function. I was having a lot of problems coming up with anything that I would actually use, so I took a break from that mindset and tried to just come up with something that amused me.

Inspired by Tesla's darker fascinations with electricity, a completely fictional document was created to go alongside the ring.
