Moz Analytics was a huge undertaking and took nearly two years to complete. It is a suite of data visualization tools to help online marketers take action and monitor success. I was involved at the initial vision of the product and took it from idea, to user stories developed with real users, to product requirements which were then distributed to four different engineering teams. I worked with three of the four technical teams to move this product forward including back-end, middle-tier, and the front-end team. When things became disorganized around launch, I took it upon myself to put together a team of people in the company willing to QA the product. I personally wrote over 200 JIRA tickets to help eliminate bugs and create a quality product when no SDETs or testers were available.
As a section of this product, I invented a custom reporting system that saves marketers 10-15 hours of billable time per month (a huge value add).
The completed product is a high-quality tool for online marketers with beautiful visualizations and comprehensive export functions.
